Work and play with the Fae

Fairies are not just for Christmas; you can work and connect with fairies daily! Let’s open the fairy door and welcome in these magical beings to assist us with work, rest and play, every day.

Open the fairy door

Here are five fun and easy steps to open the door to the fae:

1 Close your eyes and visualise a fairy door in your mind. Look in your left hand and see a tiny golden key, take the key and place it in the lock of the fairy door. 
2 Turn the golden key and open the fairy door. As it opens, you see lots of golden fairy dust swirling around.
3 Watch the golden fairy dust particles land on you. It feels lovely and fizzy, know you are being imbued with fairy magic. 
4 Place both hands over your heart and say: “I welcome in the magic of the fae, into my life, every day. For the highest good of all beings including myself and the fairies. And so, it is.” 
5 Next, say thank you, then open your eyes and ground yourself by eating something and drinking tea
or water.

Once you invite the fairies into your life, you can expect magic, miracles and extra fun and playfulness! Remember to always be respectful to these magical beings, the guardians of the earth. They are especially helpful when it comes to matters of nature, plus they can also help with healing and manifesting.

Be respectful, clear and honest

Always be super clear when asking for anything from the fairy realms. Remember they have free will, just like us, so they can say no if they want to. We must always respect their wishes, and treat each request as a blessing, if they decide to help us.

There are many different ways to ask for the assistance of the fairies. An easy way is to write down your wish or request on a piece of paper before you go to sleep and place it underneath your pillow. I would always advise to only ask for help with one thing at a time, otherwise, things could start to become a little confusing! Always make your requests clear and direct. 

Write from your heart, as the fairies can always tell if you are being authentic. They have super senses when it comes to truth, so they know when you are coming from a place of authenticity and truthfulness – remember, you can never fool a fairy!

Form friendships together

It can take moments or years to form a bond of trust and friendship with the fairies. So always be patient, as you would with making human friends. Once you have a bond with the fairies it will be there forever and a day! Unless trust is diminished. So, nurture this precious connection every day, with love and kindness. Show your love for the fae by watering and caring for the plants, trees and flowers.

Leave food for the birds, and dispose of any harmful chemical pesticides. Wherever possible choose to eat organic food and show kindness always to animals, perhaps trying a plant-based lifestyle. Any small or large gestures will not go unnoticed.

Say thank you to the fae at the start and end of every day. Keep a special fairy journal and make notes of anything that happens when you embark upon your daily journey with the fae, most of all have fun and enjoy the experience!
