“Walk a clear spiritual path” says psychic medium Lillyanne

Lillyanne explains how we all contain a spiritual spark and how to access it simply
I recently received a question from a reader interested in developing their spirituality, but the prospect of starting was a huge, intimidating commitment to them. If you’ve ever questioned the idea of walking a new path, this month’s column is for you…
My spirit guide informs me that a number of you reading this column could use some reassurance. Growing in your spirituality isn’t something you should find difficult to maintain. It’s about learning to understand your spiritual nature and how it goes hand in hand with your self-care. Taking some time to look out for yourself is a profoundly devotional act.
Reconfigure your idea of ‘spiritual’
In ancient times, people commonly believed that the divine could be found in every facet of our waking life. That every interaction we had with the world was an opportunity to connect with nature and with the divine forces behind it. The first civilizations on Earth believed that the physical world was a mirror of the divine, and Buddhists to this day hold that the divine manifests within and all around us. This speaks to a revelation that exists deep within the human psyche, that we are constantly and intimately connected with the divine – that we have the power to give a little spiritual spark to our own lives wherever we go.
The simple act of taking a step back so that we can disconnect from the world is a profoundly spiritually powerful one; it’s an act by which we show that we take on the world on our own terms, and we also give ourselves room to appreciate all of those little factors that combine to fill our lives with blessings. I know that it’s easy to feel trapped by the endless demands of modern life, but when I feel that way, I remember to take a step back and ask myself what blessings I have benefitted from today and I always feel grateful and appreciative when I do so.
Ask yourself and your soul
Find a quiet place, suitable for reflection and contemplation, and ask yourself these questions:
● What am I grateful for today?
● How have I shared my blessings with others today, and how might I better be able to do so in the future?
● What intentions can I set for myself today that will help me to do better in
the future?
● What am I typically doing when I feel an especially strong connection to the Universe or people around me?
● If I could ask spirit one question today, what would I ask and what
answer do I hope for?
Write the answers to these questions in your spiritual journal, consider meditating on them over the coming days and invite your spirit guides to assist you in exploring the questions raised by this exercise.
