Coincidence or divine inspiration? Find out with angel expert Chrissie Astell
Time after time the angels have spoken to me through my Guardian Angel Oracle, and without fail they are always accurate. It can be spooky when in a group reading two or more people get the same answer, and in recent times, when it happens even more than twice. I instantly know that the message is a universal one which involves everyone taking part, not just the person asking the question. Recently, I was giving out free single card readings live on Facebook and within the first 30 minutes, the ‘Angel of Truth’ card came up from Archangel Michael five times out of 20 cards shuffled and picked. Coincidence? I don’t think so. The angels had an important message to be heard, and it wasn’t just about those individuals.
Receive angel answers
Now for anyone unfamiliar with my particular card set, there are messages given in four suits, relating to the big four Archangels: Michael (for personal power), Raphael (for healing and personal development), Gabriel (for wisdom and guidance) and Uriel (for ways to serve and inner peace).
For one card out of the 52 to come out so forcefully from the same Archangel, we all needed to pay attention. The beautiful illustration on the card shows an angel sitting on the ground in a meditative pose, holding a bunch of beautiful white chrysanthemums (symbolic of truth in eastern cultures) between her solar plexus and heart chakras. She is sat by the side of clear water gazing into her reflection. The image shows that the water reflects the flowers and the scenery, but not the figure. In other words, with or without our ‘ego-self’, the truth just is as it is.
With current mixed messages flying about on the news and social media, ‘truth’ is clearly a huge issue. With so many opposing opinions on what is true and what is not, I almost dread getting into a discussion about it. What I and all those listening need to do, says Archangel Michael, is hold onto our personal truths.
Apply your message
Each of us has our own ‘truth’, gained from our own life experiences, beliefs and the people around us. However, our views might not always be an accurate reflection of reality, so we sometimes need to re-access them so that we can avoid self-deception.
The Angel of Truth card teaches that, while perhaps needing to repeat others’ views from time to time, you must always face the ‘mirror of truth’ by yourself. Listen to your feelings and conscience at all times. Open your mind to objective reality by sitting quietly for a short while, focusing on your breath and also on the sights and sounds around you. Ask the angels to give you some sort of sign (ask for something specific) when you are close to the truth about the matter at hand: repeat “I hold only that which is honest and true close to my heart.”
Call upon creativity
Two other cards kept showing up. The Archangel Michael card ‘Angel of Freedom’ card popped out several times with Archangel Uriel’s ‘Angel of Creativity’ too. Again, for completely different people, holding very different questions to be answered.
The creativity card always makes me smile as it shows an angel hovering with a palette and paintbrush, painting the sky from a deep orange to silver. The message here from Archangel Uriel, who calls us to serve, speaks to all those
who feel they are not able (for whatever reason) to change their circumstances. The colour of the sky is symbolic of the sacral chakra, which holds the key to our personal creativity and our ability to co-create with the Universe.
By tapping into your creativity, you bring your unique colour and influence to the tapestry of life. We are all being urged to be daring, to believe in ourselves and metaphorically speaking, if we want to change the colour of the sky, go for it! We all have the palette of change in our hands. At a time when the planets are aligning to support humanity’s growth, change and creativity, these card pulls were no coincidence! The affirmation here is “I help to shape reality with the power of my creative impulses.”
The ‘Angel of Freedom’ card shows an angel standing barefoot on the grass (grounded) holding up a silver birdcage. She is opening the door and allowing a beautiful bluebird to fly free. The bars of the silver birdcage represent illusion. The bluebird symbolises our hopes and dreams and the spiritual connection between earth and heaven. Despite the constraints of everyday life, we all have free will, and learning to exercise it with discernment is part of our spiritual growth.
Freedom can feel very scary and risky and involves taking responsibility for everything you say or do. However, turning away from freedom, staying within safe limits or letting anyone else control your actions or thinking will not only make you feel trapped but restrict you as a person. So, this message was very clear to me, that many minds are trapped in an illusion created by ideas and melodrama we observe and process from our own perspective, played out in our imagination, inspired not by love, but by our worst fears. The ‘Angel of Freedom’ shows us that we all have a choice: to act with love in life, or to react in fear. We are being urged to trust our intuition. You can ask Archangel Michael for the courage to follow your heart, to break free from restrictions and to soar high, acting out of love for both yourself and others. Repeat: “I choose to be free, to be my true self.”
