In early October I make a Zoom appointment with Ruthy thanks to the introduction by a mutual friend of ours. Ruthy’s mission statement reads “I am on a mission to connect millions of hearts around the globe, to help raise the vibration of the planet”. The mission I have set her is to remotely connect with my cat and delve into what Tabitha really thinks about me, our home, our family and her diet (though I think I can guess on that one). I look forward to our session in a few weeks and fill out a questionnaire beforehand.

Ruthy Doolitte: Hi there! Thank you for filling out the form. Have you had anything done like this done before?Rosalind Moody: I’ve had an angel communication reading done with Maureen Rolls when Tabitha was really young, so not for a long time! I’m so excited for this. RD: Great. Ok, so intuitive types work slightly differently so I’ll just explain how I work. So I’ve got my guides that I work with and actually, I know that Tabitha is quite a significant character already because of what guides have come through for me to communicate this to me off the bat! I’m just gonna get to get to know her a little bit as she doesn’t know who I am. I always ask a few icebreakers. I’ll go quiet for about 20 minutes while I have a communication with her and then I’ll share everything with you. I’m just gonna have my head down, but you carry on with your day as you like. Okay? RM: Great, yeah!

20 minutes of silence as Ruthy smiles thoughtfully and silently RD: OK! So she’s very queen-like. She showed me that she’s quite fastidious, in particular about having clean feet. At first I had to reassure her that you’d asked me to come and it was okay, and I wasn’t going to go and gossip about her! She said, “Oh, that’s interesting”. She’s got this sort of playfulness to her. I just did a little scan on her energy because I want her to get comfortable with me. I do a holistic wellness assessment to check about 26 different points. She was only actually positive for a few. She’s a little pernickety about food but ultimately, what she wants is on your plate.

Her favourite place to sleep, she says, is with my mum, you. The sofa is quite nice, especially with some sun beams. She’s like a nosy neighbour. She showed me her sitting in the window looking outside, surveying the manor, checking on the people coming and going. But a lot of it is that she’s waiting for you to come home. She clocks everything. She likes to take that in. RM: Wow, all so true! RD: There’s almost this queen-like impatience, like she’s saying ‘haven’t we been over this’? I asked her does she like your mum and Tabitha says she’s lovely and gives a cat smile. There was a real sense of acceptance of the extended family. Boys aren’t her favourite but your dad is
an exception.
