The Spa at Calabash, Grenada
Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel in Grenada has just undergone an extensive refurbishment of the lobby, spa and bar area, joined prestigious hotel group Relais & Châteaux and last month was named the best hotel in the Caribbean in TripAdvisor’s 2017 Traveler’s Choice Hotel Awards! As part of the spa’s update, therapist Naficia Evans has launched an oil concierge service, taking into account preferences, mood and treatment chosen, creating unique and personalised blends of sweet almond, frangipani manoi, sweet orchid, eucalyptus lemongrass, sweet orange, coconut oil, grapeseed and lavender. This service complements the spas authentic treatments, such as the Caribbean Rescue Deep Tissue Massage and the Back Recovery, also known as a facial for the back. This includes deep cleansing, exfoliation, steam and extractions (if necessary). A detoxifying clay mask is applied and concluded with a massage on the back and soles of the feet. These sit alongside an array of signature treatments that include hot stone massages, mum-to-be pregnancy massage, reflexology, body polish and facials that help you radiate your unique glow. The spa also offers holistic treatments, yoga and other holistic approaches to mental quietude, physical wellbeing and spiritual balance.
