Create a glam unicorn showstopper

Display your affirmation cards in pride of place with this magical stand
1 Cut a rectangle of card 7cm x 21cm and round off the corners. Cut another piece of card 14cm x 21cm and cut the top end into a curve (see image). Score across the other end at 1cm, 3cm and 5cm intervals and crease these lines to make the stand. Fold in the creased sections and glue to the back of the card to make a triangular stand.
2 Cover the fronts of both card panels with patterned or foiled paper trimmed to the same shape. Glue the bottom of the triangular stand to the centre of the smaller panel. Cut a 3.5cm square of paper, cut in half diagonally and fold in 5mm on both straight edges to make corner holders for the unicorn card. Fix these to the lower part of the stand, 2.5cm in from the sides and bottom using the 5mm tabs so a card can be slipped in place.
3 Cover card with patterned paper and cut mirrored unicorn silhouettes from this. Use a small hole punch to mark eyes and nostrils. Make a line of holes along the back of the neck. Take a length of six-strand embroidery floss and stitch through a hole four or five times, making loops of floss around a finger as you do so. Wrap the floss tightly around the loops, close to the edge of the shape to bind them. Thread the floss back down through the binding and pull tight before cutting the loops to make a tassel.
4 Repeat for all the holes to make a complete mane. Comb out the threads with a needle or a small soft brush. Add detail to the horn with a gold pen if desired before mounting each head on either side of the stand using foam pads. Punch out lots of flower shapes from coordinating colours of paper. Bend the petals of each blossom up slightly and glue randomly around the stand.
