Discover three stories of near-death experiences and how they unlocked hidden powers
For the first time in human history, scientific research methods are being used to gain an understanding of the afterlife, says Mark Anthony, psychic lawyer. NDERF, the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation, compiles a database of experiences of near-death, and there are masses of similarities from all around the world. There are stories about a floating sensation, going into the light and seeing loved ones. We’re beginning to see that consciousness, who and what we are, can survive physical death, remain coherent and go to a different dimension. Now three amazing psychics share their stories of coming close to death and how it led them to develop the spiritual skills we all have!
Heal and reveal
Kimberly Meredith, medium and healer, says:
“My second near-death experience was in late 2012. I was hit by a car, and as a result, I was admitted into the emergency room on Christmas Eve. While in the hospital that evening, a nurse injected me with blood thinners. I saw my blood pressure drop to zero, and then I blacked out.
“Suddenly everything became blurry. Not afraid, I went through a tunnel and saw an indescribable beautiful white light and misty soft clouds. I was surrounded by white tiny lights and blurred images of faces. There were also purple roses, and I felt the presence of connections made with my ancestors, and my Shaman grandmother. I could hear whispers saying to me, ‘You’re okay. Everything is okay,’ while still faintly hearing the nurses. It was comforting, beautiful and peaceful. I knew something was going on. I had left my body. I saw myself outside of my body and was experiencing another dimension of myself… Then, I awakened to a gasp of air. I didn’t know what had happened.
“My road ahead was painful and arduous. I couldn’t speak, feel my legs or walk. The doctors expected me to never leave my wheelchair or hold up my head again. But I heard spirit tell me to put 100% of my faith in God for my healing. I began praying over my body, and became the first recipient of my newfound healing gifts.
“As my abilities evolved, I also discovered I can connect and communicate with loved ones that have crossed over to the other side. Word of my abilities soon spread, and I found myself offering my healings and spiritual counselling to countless people from around the world, all of whom experienced profound improvement. I have also helped many people raise their consciousness to attune to the healing frequencies of the fifth dimension.”

Perform and inform
Alexa Robbins, tarot reader, yoga and pilates instructor, says:
“In my senior year of high school, I went skiing with a friend. We chose a difficult course and when I hit the ice my binding stuck and I fell. I left my body and hovered above myself. I watched myself crash down the mountain and land in a heap like a broken doll. I was calm and felt no pain. I could have easily floated into the eternal light. However, when my friend screamed and emergency crews began working on me, I felt a tug to return. When I rejoined my body, the pain was unbearable.
“The accident cracked me open. I began to feel like a radio receiver, picking up everyone’s station, what they felt and thought. I could see colours, and souls who’d passed began communicating with me.
“I attempted to supress my expanding clairvoyance until the day a theatre friend took me to a gathering held by a man who channelled and taught classes on spiritual development. I’d found my home. I then met an astrologer and tarot reader. When I looked at the images on her cards, I could immediately decode their messages. They were a dynamic living theatre. Once I could see the use of my gift, I dove in with my whole heart.
“I was hired as a resident tarot reader at a cabaret and I worked there for three years. I continued to study, practise and learn. I honed my skills and people lined up to hear about their lives. Ultimately, I fell so in love with serving others, the Tarot became my life’s focus.
“In Japan, when a vase breaks, they pour gold in the cracks. The poet Rumi wrote, ‘The wound is where the light enters’ and the musician Leonard Coen sang, ‘The crack is where the light gets in.’ I’m a living example of this truth. It is in our human vulnerability where we may find wholeness. I no longer need the lights of Broadway because I get to share the light in a meaningful way every day. Had I not almost died, I might not have truly
learned to live.”
Swim against the tide
S&S reader and medium Tania Hooper shares her story:
“In May 2018, I went on holiday to Egypt with a friend. My friend booked a trip to swim with dolphins in the Red Sea. The morning of the boat trip, there was a thunderstorm and I kept trying to contact the boat company to cancel. Something didn’t feel right. My friend said I was paranoid that the sun would come out and we’d be fine. I remember getting in and being magically drawn to the dolphins, but the sea was rough and I was keen to get out.
“A man called Ziko, who my friend booked the trip with, came over and asked us to snorkel as this was the last stop. He said that the water was calm now and convinced me to get back in the sea. As soon as I got in, my life jacket came straight up and over the back of my head, pushing my face firmly underwater.
I got swept out in a current that I couldn’t swim against and I was soon far from our boat. My body hit another boat and I had no energy left. My last memory is trying to put the snorkel back on.
“I was no longer in terror. I was in a different dimension. A Japanese lady appeared and talked to me in perfect English. I felt unconditional love. I knew I was dead and I was at peace with it. I said, ‘I’m happy to stay!’ But she insisted we didn’t move far from my body and that I returned.
“I heard my great grandmother’s voice asking to see me. The Japanese lady told my grandmother, ‘No. If she sees you,
she cannot return to her body.’ I didn’t hear my grandmother again. I felt like I knew this lady from the past. I 100% trusted her.
“I remember seeing my lifeless body receiving CPR on a small boat in the sea, but I couldn’t hear or smell the real world. I remember floating closer to my body, and then suddenly being back and in the most immense pain. I felt my grandmother holding my hand and I could see that the Japanese lady was in a different dimension to me now.
“I was told afterwards that I’d been dead when I was pulled out of the sea. Afterwards I had two weeks with the Japanese lady visiting my dreams. She gave me lots of premonitions that have come true! If any of my friends are ever in need, I will phone them and say what I need to, and even my non-believing friends will always confirm I was right.”
