Feeling stressed? This yogic breathing exercise can be mastered in minutes… a great way to calm down and enhance well-being
1 Sitting comfortably with a straight spine and your hands resting on your thighs, start to breathe, inhaling and exhaling slowly through your nose.
2 When you are ready, lift your right hand to your nose and roll your first two fingers down towards your palm. Block your right nostril with your thumb and inhale through your left nostril.
3 Now use your third finger to block the left nostril and release your thumb. Exhale through your right nostril.
4 Inhale through the right nostril and block it with your thumb, then release your third finger from the left nostril, exhale through the left and then inhale again through the left.
5 Continue to breathe through alternate nostrils like this for 30 complete breaths, or until you feel peaceful.
