Benita Jayne’s incredible messages from above inspired her to build a future and help others heal
“It wasn’t until my father was diagnosed with lung cancer that I started to take an interest in the spiritual world. I was married with two young children at the time, and his death totally devastated me. To help me come to terms with his passing, my mum took me to see a medium. To my surprise, the reading was very accurate – the psychic described my father’s appearance and personality in detail. She even said that he had visited the Himalayas in spirit, which is where he had spent his childhood at boarding school! This was such a comfort, and to me it was evidence of other realms. “After that experience, I became much more interested in my own spiritual path. Sometimes life’s sad events guide you onto a new pathway. I realised that I wasn’t being true to myself, everything I did was to please other people and I had lost my true self in the process.
“A good friend of mine, Shirley Banks, was a local medium who invited me to join her development circle. It was a relief to meet like-minded people who were all so caring and inspirational. Through the group a whole new world of meditation, absent healing work, spiritual guides and angels opened up to me. “During this time, I was given my first angel book A Little Light on Angels by Diana Cooper. The experience I got from reading it was incredible – I felt completely connected to the angelic realm. As I began working with these beings through prayer and meditation, I felt a deep healing within – my confidence grew and I finally became able to express myself. I started reading more and more about these magical beings, and even had a few signs along the way that assured me I was on the right path. For example, one day I was searching for a book by Diana Cooper but I didn’t have much money to spend. I went into a bookstore and on top of all the other books was the exact one I wanted – it was on sale for just £1!
“Myself and a few friends decided to meet weekly to work closely with the angels and send healing to family and friends. As I meditated, I began to see visions that I knew were sent from heaven – this is what’s known as an angelic download. The best way to describe it is that it’s like being connected to a light circuit. I was shown many magical places, such as crystal pyramids surrounded by trees and flowers, a beautiful amethyst and pink quartz cathedral located on the top of a mountain, healing pools, waterfalls and lakes with rainbow-coloured energised water, surrounded by rocks and animals.
“I received an overwhelming explosion of images that were so inspiring, I had to re-create them. I hadn’t picked up a paintbrush for 10 years and the first drawings I drafted were very childish, but I persevered and eventually I painted eight angel characters. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them, I just felt compelled to get them on paper.
A spiritual push
“Despite being on a spiritual path, life still gives you tough lessons. At one point, I was desperate to get away as things were difficult at home – my son had been really ill and I was so stressed. A close friend encouraged me to accompany her on a seven-day retreat to Egypt, organised by Daisy Foss and Sandra Meakin. We visited sacred sites such as Karnak, the Temple of Sekhmet and the Temple of Luxor to receive guided meditations that balance the sacred feminine and masculine energies in ourselves and the world. The Great Pyramid was closed to the public so we could be there by ourselves for three hours of healing and sound toning – it was amazing. Daisy also attuned us to the Alpha Omega Zenith Angel Healing, which was incredibly powerful! We were allowed to stand between the feet of the Sphinx and were guided through a visualisation to receive ancient spiritual information. The retreat left me feeling elated and like a new person. It was then that I knew I had to do something with the angelic visions I had been receiving – once you open up your spiritual path, you can’t go back.
“I was guided to start writing a children’s adventure book using the angel characters I’d previously painted, the story’s scenes were inspired from the sacred places I’d seen while meditating. I put pen to paper and the words just flowed as I wrote. I suppose it could be described as automatic writing – I didn’t know how the book would end until I was writing the last chapter!
“After two years of hard work, and with the support of my family and friends (and of course the angels), I pursued my dream of publishing a book. I then developed a website to go with the book so the readers could learn more about the characters. There are also free inspirational angel messages and card readings on the site, and I offer an absent healing service, where I send angelic vibrations from a distance.
Spreading the love
“Angels have brought me so much inner peace and guidance, and when I’ve asked for help they have always been there for me, even with everyday things. I once needed a new car, and after asking my guardians for help, I received an email – the company I worked for was selling a car. I put in a bid and won it at a very good price. Another time I needed a new phone and won one in a raffle! The angels can support you endlessly, you just have to remember to ask. “My next move is to write a second angel fantasy book to encourage people to connect with these amazing beings of love and light. I would like to create more healing meditations, especially for young people as they have so much stress and worry these days. My aim is to share what I know about angels so that everyone can benefit from their powers, just like I have.”
