After all the over-indulgence and festive celebrations, Karen Kay shows us how to get 2018 off to the best start with fairy magic!
We’ve all been there, feeling a little ‘outof-sorts’, perhaps from overeating or overindulging during the holiday period, or just slowing down and taking it easy. Are you feeling like January is the perfect time to start the New Year with a new yoga or wellness regime? A hobby? Or even to get your dreams properly in motion? Maybe you’re even considering something new, like trying different crystal or angel affirmations?
Did you know that you can work with the wellness fairies to help kick-start your New Year! Fairies are very active creatures, especially just before the spring, as that’s when most of the behind-the-scenes fairy work takes place! We already know that anything is possible in fairyland, and that the fairy folk are very creative when it comes to manifesting and coming up with solutions so that you can achieve your dreams, so why not work with them to help you work out your plans and solutions for 2018! Visualisation is a great way to start, plus it’s a chance for you to literally unleash your wildest dreams and visions about your future self. Next, you need to get practical, and that means getting physical. This might mean setting your alarm a little earlier in the mornings before you set off for work so you can add in a new routine.
This could involve anything like exercise, yoga or meditation. Having that extra helping of fairy dust can make a huge difference, and give your inspired ideas a huge boost. Imagine yourself in that new dress after trying a new style, or walking to work after making a commitment to be more aware of Mother Nature! You might also want to create a manifestation board – simply place on it pictures of goals and things that would make you happy, (such as a new job, finding true love, etc), and what you’d like to achieve. This exercise will indicate to the fairies what you want from your life, and they will give you signs to help and guide you in achieving your dreams.
While doing this, think about keeping your mind clear of negative energies and thoughts, meditate often, and consider your diet, as this will make a huge difference to your energy levels and how you feel in general. Trust your gut instinct – you know the limits of your body, and you also know instinctively what food your body needs to be truly nourished. Clean out your food cupboards! Replace all the unhealthy food with tasty, nourishing options, and eat as mindfully as possible.
All these things should also awaken your third eye and heighten your intuition, meaning you’ll be able to connect more strongly with fairies and achieve your dreams. Spend more time in nature, go on long woodland walks – you’ll start to see the difference very soon.
Change your life!
Begin by closing your eyes and taking a few long, deep breaths. Invite your guardian angel, or pray for protection during this exercise:
• Imagine you are standing in front of a long mirror, and see the reflection that you wish to see. Fairies are masters of glamour, so they will gladly assist with this fun visualisation. Once you can see the ‘ideal’ you want to be and achieve in the mirror, now imagine what it feels like. Feel the joy and vibrancy that you’ll feel.
• In your mind, ask silently or aloud and say the following: “Dear fairies, inspire me to live a more mindful lifestyle so that I may achieve my goals, dreams and become the best me.”
