Maureen Rolls heals a high energy dog
Here’s how it went:
Maureen on healing Maggie:
“Maggies energy is very high, and as soon as I tuned into her energy her mind was flitting about all over the place and not focused on our conversation. Straightaway I had to stop and ask Maggie to concentrate and to be calm. She gave me a very heavy feeling that she is grieving for her mum and siblings, so I then showed her how to communicate with them all, alive or deceased, she is so pleased to be able to talk to them now.
I asked her why she goes at everything at full speed, as frightens some people. She responded by saying that she feels that she is the protector in the pack. I informed her that she is part of a human domestic home and that her pack instincts are not required in the same way as in the wild, and that her human friends are the pack leaders. Maggie said she is very close to the daughter and that she feels the need to protect her, but I told her to do so only when required in a situation of threat to the daughter. For this reason, I would advise that the owners show Maggie her boundaries. Maggie then gave me a vision twice of a pregnant female human, which could be in her own natural family life.
Whilst in an animal’s energy, I can feel what they are feeling, and when I gaze at Maggie both my jaws ached all the way to my ears, as if my jaw had been propped wide open some time ago. Perhaps this was during an operation…I also felt that my tummy was not settled, the result of Maggie’s nervous high energy going to her stomach.
I have asked Maggie to try to relax and calm down to do things at a gentle pace. Maggie is a lovely old soul and she is very intelligent, she just needs to feel less protective. I have done a full body Archangel energy healing on Maggie and taken all her trauma energy away. I send her my blessings and I hope she will be calmer now.”
Charlotte, Maggie’s human friend on her reaction since
Maureen’s description of Maggie’s personality and behaviour could not be more accurate –
she’s high energy, goes full throttle at everything, everyday. She often barks at people and dogs she’s uncertain about and she quickly positioned herself as protector of our small pack, especially our daughter, when she joined my family at six months of age. When you consider that Maggie was probably born a stray, that she had a scary, insecure and vulnerable start to her life, it’s not surprising she often feels on high alert, and we’re trying to train her gently to relax and let go. It is doubtful that Maggie had any caring humans to fend for her when was a small pup so Maureen’s intuitive comments regarding her wild pack instincts and past traumas are uncannily true. Her bond with my young daughter is unbreakable – they simply adore each other and my daughter refers to Maggie as her sister.
When Maureen mentioned that Maggie’s grieving for her natural mum and siblings, I felt a lump in my throat. She was rescued in poor condition when she was three months old, covered in ticks and very skinny, from a Spanish dog pound with a kill policy, so we don’t know what she was forced to leave behind and what happened to her family.
Thank you, Maureen, for talking to Maggie, helping her deal with her past traumas and reassuring her she can let go of her nervous high energy and protectiveness. In the few days since her communication with you, she has been even more clingy with all of us and has wanted to sleep on my bed, but she has also been calmer with other dogs and visitors to our home. I’ve given her loads of praise for these positive changes, so hopefully it will reassure her that she’s doing the right thing and it’s OK to let go and just enjoy being a pampered pet with no worries and responsibilities, not a crazy 100-mile-per-hour watch-dog!
