Hedge Witch Project: Make Your Own Lucky Wand

Hedgewitch originates from Germany and means, ‘rider of the hedge’.
These were people who lived outside communities in makeshift tents in the shrubbery, and were often referred to as ‘wise women’. Their approach to life was to heal and cure with nature, using herbs, berries, leaves and plants. If you mostly answered Bs, you are a hedge witch who likes nothing more than being surrounded by nature and all her glory. While you enjoy your own company, you are also the person people turn to for advice, or when looking for a shoulder to cry on.
The hedge witch of old would serve her community by providing magical healing and the protection of crops and animals. Everyone would respect her, as they never knew when they might need her help. The same applies to you – like them, you possess a magnetic ability that instantly draws people from all walks of life to you.

A lucky wand for the hedge witch
You will need
Thin stick taken from a tree of your choice
Sharp scalpel
Several small gem stones
One metre of thin green ribbon
Some craft glue
Find a stick you are attracted to – preferably one that has fallen from the tree and, with your scalpel, carefully remove the bark until its surface becomes smooth and clean. Place some glue on the first four inches of your stick, before winding your green ribbon around it, so you create a ribbon handle. Now you can get creative!Dab glue on to the rest of your stick, and glue your gem stones all over it. Allow it to dry, and leave outside on the first night of a full Moon to charge your wand.
Whenever you cast a spell, wave it over the ingredients or candle you are using. It will give your ritual that extra hedge witch power.
