Chrissie Astell shares her top tips on grounding yourself with Archangel Uriel
Mid-summer is a great time to give yourself a spiritual ‘once over’ and make sure you are fully grounded as you dash around during these lengthy days, whether or not you are enjoying the great outdoors. Grounding your energy is a very important spiritual practice, yet one that gets most regularly forgotten. The more we develop spiritually and connect with the higher vibrations of the angelic realms, the more attention we need to make sure our feet are firmly on the ground.
1. Rise and shine
Consciously feel the souls of your feet on the floor when you get out of bed. Stand tall with feet apart for one minute and say: “I am grounded, and fully present in my body.”
2. Feel the Earth beneath your feet
Go barefoot as often as you can – especially on grass or sand.
3. Take a breather
Stop and take some really deep slow breaths right down into your body, without raising your shoulders. Do this especially when you are under pressure.
4. Be mindful
Pay attention to what you are doing and saying. Try hard to stay in the now!
5. Soak it in
Bring yourself to ground by enjoying a hot shower then finishing off with cold. This will invigorate your senses!
