Often considered the queen of the self-help movement, Louise Hay is celebrating her 90th birthday this weekend. She found her calling in life to become the founder of Hay House, the internationally renowned and well-loved publishing house that has touched the lives of millions globally.
Louise Lynn Hay, better known as Louise Hay, was born on October 8th 1926 in Los Angeles. At the age of 58, she founded Hay House as a way to publish her own two debut books, Heal Your Body and You Can Heal Your Life. Both titles became international bestsellers, with the latter having sold over 35 million copies worldwide.
Nearly 30 years later and Hay House has grown to become a household name that we all know and love. From books to CDs, DVDs and card decks, every aspect of the spiritual world has been blessed by Louise and her spiritual cohort.
With an impressive list of big names in the spiritual world attached to it (including Soul & Spirit regulars such as Doreen Virtue, Radleigh Valentine and Kyle Gray), it’s not hard to see why Hay House is one of best-loved mind, body and soul publishers going.
Have a happy 90th, Louise!
