HONEY It is said that Cleopatra would bathe in honey and milk to help maintain her eternally youthful allure, keeping her skin looking soft and supple. Honey is also used in binding spells, so by simply putting a tablespoon of the golden stuff into water and pouring into your bath, it’s thought that you will be able to remedy any struggles you may be experiencing in a relationship or friendship.
PEPPERMINT Peppermint makes for a wonder facial skincare ingredient as its refreshing and cooling properties are great for any skin type, making it an ingredient commonly found in many toners and cleansers. For years peppermint has also been used in spells for money and prosperity, due to its crisp green appearance. Perhaps use a peppermint face wash when a payrise is due?
BASIL Basil can be found on beauty shelves in many anti-aging creams and serums, but did you know it’s got great spiritual prowess too? As a herb associated with Venus, it’s used in spells to enhance blessings and brings good to our lives. A simple basil under eye cream will not only help keep you looking great but feeling great too!
ROSE Roses are a big botanical name in the beauty world and just as big in the world of spirituality and spells. Known for its ability to help give your skin a dewy glow and soften lips, by using rosewater in a variety of spells, you can attract love and promote sweet dreams. A quick spritz of a rosewater before bed will bring about romantic night visions.
LAVENDER Relax and soothe with lavender − a powerful purple plant that’s harnessed in spells related to memory. A gentle spray of a lavender pillow mist or even wearing a lavender sleep mask before slumber will encourage a peaceful night’s sleep, important for your well-being and psychic development.
COFFEE Coffee is a product of many talents, and beyond waking you up in the mornings with a caffeinated kick, its chock-full of antioxidants so is great for brightening skin and reducing imperfections such as puffy eyes and cellulite. Coffee has long been used as a divination exercise and by reading someone’s granulated grounds, you can tap into a deeper spiritual level.
