Have you ever had an issue or problem and weren’t sure how best to resolve it? Perhaps right now you are worried about making the wrong decision? Maybe your choice could result in consequences that you’re not sure you’re ready for?
You may ask around and find that others have opinions and advice for you in abundance. They may even tell you quite forcefully what you should do! Of course, it’s useful to take on board what our loved ones think, but is their way always the best way for you?
Sometimes you need to be still; to tune in and listen to the answers that are presented to you on a soul level.
Here are a few ways to do this:
Give in to the fact you don’t currently know what to do. Make some time to be still, and pose your question to the universe/higher power. What or who you believe in doesn’t really matter here, so long as you believe in something.
Request, in love and in light, that the best solution for everyone involved be shown to you.
3 Be open
It’s all very well asking to be guided, but you also need to listen to the guidance when it comes. This will require you keeping your eyes open for repeated signs and symbols. What or who do you see? Keep your ears open for words, messages and sounds. Perhaps you will overhear a conversation that proves useful. Maybe you keep hearing the same song over and over, where the lyrics provide helpful advice. Keep your heart open to repetitive thoughts, feelings and dreams. What does your tummy tell you to do (your gut feeling)? Pay attention to synchronicities. After all, there’s no such thing as a coincidence!
4 Keep the faith
When you listen to Divine guidance, trust it and act upon it, you begin to go with the flow. Things move at a pace that’s right for you. However, if you ignore your gut and choose to do something that’s right for someone else but not for you, you’ll not only remain stuck, but will also end up having to swim against the tide, which can be exhausting. When this happens, you have literally given away your power to something that is not serving your soul, and end up rather like a puppet on a string, dancing along to someone else’s tune. This is where anger and resentment come in.
The truth is that none of us can see the whole picture, and neither are we meant to. But following your own unique lantern of light when it’s dark is more than sufficient to guide the way.
Sometimes you simply need to take a leap of faith, and trust that the hows, whens and any other details, will be shown to you when needed, one step at a time. You have far more wisdom than you think! Tune in, take back your power, and start moving towards joy, positivity and inner peace.
